As many of you will have realized, this site is hosted by Google  (Google Apps for Domains).

To some,  this would seem like a choice that has too many limitations, but I subscribe to a "Keep It Simple" technology approach. Having Google host the site provides me with nearly everything that I want, while keeping the management extremely easy (and keeping the price right (i.e. free)).  The simplicity of the management and the reduced functionality (and therefore reduced temptation for overkill in site design and features) provides me the time to focus on the projects that interest me.
